Memberships are currently available.
Our membership rate for the 2021 season is $2820.00 for a single member, $4464.00 for couples, and $1872.00 for single members under 40 years of age as of January 1, 2021.
We are a semi private club established by Manuel and Lydia Raposa in 1957. We are a privately owned, family run business. Manuel and Lydia’s vision was that of a “working-man’s course”. Our memberships are all-you can play golf. Public is always welcome to play, however, members are permitted to make their tee times seven days in advance whereas the general public is permitted to make their tee times five days in advance. Members are entitled to discount rates on golf carts as compared to the public rate. Members are also entitled to purchase cart cards that provide additional discounts by purchasing cart rides in bulk.
Weekend morning tee times are assigned by lottery on a weekly basis. We try very hard to ensure there is an opportunity for members to play every day. We do schedule shotgun tournaments, usually on weekdays. If an outing is a shotgun format, an alternate shotgun opportunity will be available for members to play. We reserve weekend mornings for member play and do not schedule shotgun tournaments at that time. The only exception to that is member shotgun tournaments.
All new members must provide half of one-year membership at the time of application or provide a checking or savings account for automatic withdrawal.
Our memberships are for the calendar year only. We distribute payments over 12 months for automatic withdrawal customers, or, in two half payments for credit card customers. For members renewing their membership in subsequent years we do offer monthly billing.
We also offer locker facilities and club storage for our members. A locker is $48.00 yearly, Bag Storage is $36.00 yearly, and Pull Cart storage is $60.00 yearly.
Our leave of absence policy is that a member is entitled to a full refund if their membership is cancelled before 5/31. After 6/1 Membership is due in full according to their selected payment schedule. Injuries, life altering experiences, and other situations that prevent a member from taking advantage of their membership mid-season are handled on a case by case basis. The decisions of the club management are final and may not be appealed.
Also included is membership in the Green Valley Golf Association. (GVGA) The GVGA is a member run organization that organizes member tournaments, competitive events, and establishes and maintains handicaps for our members.
There are usually no entry fees for member tournaments.
We do not have minimums that need to be spent in the Pro Shop or Clubhouse.
Green Valley Country Club does not have an initiation fee to join at this time.
Junior and Student Memberships are also available. Junior membership is $300.00 and are only available for children that are 17 or younger as of April 1. Junior and Student memberships are all you can play memberships. The only exception is that junior and student members may not play before 2pm on Saturday or Sunday unless their handicap is 15 or less. Student memberships are $662.00 and are limited to individuals aged 18-24 with proof of enrollment. Student members are members of the GVGA.
